Carbon Prolite AFO

The Carbon Prolite AFO (ankle foot orthosis) is a prefabricated leaf spring design for correction of flaccid foot drop, especially on post-stroke patients. It is made from injection-moulded, carbon-reinforced polypropylene for increased rigidity. Its lightweight, comfortable design & carbon construction provides good dorsiflexion assist and the open heel allows it to fit in most shoes. Padded tibial crest and dorsum straps enable accurate and secure positioning.

Indications for Use

• Drop Foot secondary to CVA
• Mild Drop Foot secondary to other neurological pathologies
